Cowdenbeath 0-9 Caley Thistle Ladies
Caley Thistle’s women hit top form when they travelled to Cowdenbeath last weekend and demolished the home side 9-0.
Lorraine Cadden fired them ahead in the fifth minute and three minutes later Kerry Smith doubled the lead. The Highland side were in complete command and further first half goals from Fiona Greig, Karen Mason and a double from prolific striker Leanne Calder made it 6-0 at the interval.
The onslaught continued after the break and the impressive Calder completed her hat trick on the fifty-minute mark before netting her fourth shortly afterwards.
Despite their dominance Caley Thistle still had their keeper Kim Jappy to thank for a couple of point blank saves before Eilidh Mackay completed the scoring with fifteen minutes left. Nikki Robson was named as player of the match.
This Sunday the women entertain Carluke at the Bught Park Inverness with a 2.00pm kick off.
